Dave and Nikki surprised us with a visit right after Christmas. We LOVED getting to meet little Justin. They had him blessed while they were here. We were so happy to be a part of that. We love their family!

New Year's Eve Couples Dinner. I think there were around 20 couples from our neighborhood. Lots of fun catching up over the Christmas season!

We had a very relaxing, cozy Christmas day. Grandma C came to spend the day with us, and Grandma and Grandpa Taylor came for Christmas dinner.

This year Luke and Jacob entered together and had all sorts of secrets in making their sled. Finished Sled :)

Grandpa runs all the sleds in different heats, just like pinewood derby... but yummier.
Alec won for best design!Elise was neck and neck with Luke and Jacob, accrediting her success to previous science classes, until they pulled ahead, leaving her in 2nd place. She was happy with the gift card though! Jacob was thrilled to beat his sister.Jacob and Luke won dinner out and bragging rights for the next year. We will be taking them out so they can sit at their own table and order by themselves ;)

Love this picture- Christmas Eve Lynn and Jacob gave Elise and I an early gift - Apple Airports. He and Jacob had been planning the surprise and had them playing with hidden speakers. We really were surprised ;)
